5. Dukes of Hazzard
The remake of the classic TV series with Luke and Bo Duke played by general Jackasses Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott, of course we have the real star of the show, the General Lee a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. No this isn’t the most amazing film by film standards but as a car film it’s awesome.
Steve McQueen’s classic, the Ford Mustang that stars in the film also happens to be chased by a Dodge Charger making it a two for the price of one deal. It does seem that most decent car films feature a muscle car. This I think is because they’re more heroic than other cars.
3.Gone in 60 seconds
By this I mean the modern version with Nicolas Cage as I have already voiced my opinions on the old one. What more could you want 50 cars in one films and a half decent chase at the end.
2. The Italian Job
It doesn’t matter which one you choose, as both of them are pretty good. Whether it is Michael Caine or Mark Wahlberg, the real stars of course are the Mini’s which I don’t think would have been the massive success they are without either of the films.
1.Fast and Furious series
My number one car film is all of the FF films. It doesn’t matter which one you watch the real stars are the cars in all of them. Yes Tokyo Drift was a weak one but the rest are all brilliant car films.
